What claroquote sends
claroquote is a tool that lets trade contractors (plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, general contractors, etc.) build professional quotes on a phone and send them to their customers. The primary SMS that claroquote sends is a quote link — a text containing the contractor’s shop name and a URL where the customer can view, approve, and pay the quote.
claroquote does not send marketing messages, promotional offers, newsletters, or anything unrelated to a specific quote a contractor is preparing for a specific customer.
How people consent to receive SMS
claroquote uses a conversational opt-in. This is the standard consent model for small-business customer-communication tools under TCR / CTIA guidance.
Here’s what that looks like in practice:
- A homeowner contacts a contractor (phone call, referral, in-person) asking about work.
- The contractor shows up, looks at the problem, and asks the customer for their phone number to send a quote.
- The customer provides the number. By doing so, they agree to receive a text containing the quote from that contractor.
- The contractor enters the number into claroquote. The claroquote interface displays a short consent confirmation reminding the contractor of this agreement at the moment the customer is added.
- When the contractor taps Send, claroquote delivers the first SMS to the customer. The message includes the shop name, a link to the quote, and an opt-out instruction.
Customers do not sign up with claroquote directly. There is no web form or checkbox on claroquote.app where a consumer provides their number to us — we only ever receive phone numbers through contractors who entered them on behalf of a customer with whom they have a direct business relationship.
Sample messages
These are the actual message templates claroquote sends:
Smith Plumbing sent you a quote. Tap to review: https://claroquote.app/q/abc123 Reply STOP to opt out.
Maria Martinez paid $250.00. Nice work! Reply STOP to opt out.
Maria Martinez approved your quote for $250.00. Call to schedule. Reply STOP to opt out.
Frequency
Message frequency is low and directly tied to the quote lifecycle. A typical customer receives one message per quote, with an optional resend (also one message) if they misplace the original link. Most customers receive between 1 and 3 total SMS from claroquote for a given quote.
How to opt out
You can stop all claroquote SMS at any time by replying with any of these keywords to any message:
STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT
When we receive your opt-out, we immediately record it and block every future claroquote SMS to your number — from every contractor who uses claroquote. You will see a confirmation reply: “You’ve been unsubscribed from claroquote SMS and will not receive further messages. Reply HELP for help.”
If you change your mind and want to resume receiving SMS (for example, because the same or a new contractor wants to send you a quote), contact us at {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}} to clear the block.
How to get help
Reply HELP (or INFO) to any claroquote SMS. We’ll reply with a short message including our contact information and links to this page and our Privacy Policy.
You can also reach us directly at {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}}.
Carrier fees and data rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless plan. claroquote does not charge consumers any fee to receive SMS.
Supported carriers
